Rob Halliday has been working as a lighting designer and lighting programmer around the world for more than 25 years. His recent work as lighting designer includes the acclaimed Tree of Codes with director Wayne McGregor, the visual artist Olafur Eliasson and the composer Jamie xx, and The Beggar’s Opera, Alice in Wonderland and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the opening shows at the new Storyhouse Theatre in Chester. As lighting programmer or associate lighting designer he has been involved with shows including Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, My Fair Lady, Shakespeare in Love, Evita, Red and Oklahoma! He is a regular speaker at lighting conferences around the world, and writes about lighting for a variety of entertainment publications.
